Get ready to file your taxes

In order to file your taxes it is important to be prepared and bring all the necessary documents to make this process smoother and easier for you and for us. Please bring  the following additional information:

General Required Documents (bring all that apply to you)

-A copy of your 2014 tax return, if not prepared by this office
-Form(s) W-2 (wages, etc.)
-Form(s) 1099 (interest, dividends, etc.)
-Form(s) 1095-A, B or C (Health insurance forms issued)
-Schedule(s) K-1 (income/loss from partnerships, S corporations, etc.)
-Form(s) 1098 (mortgage interest) and property tax statements(2014-2015 & 2015-2016)
-Forms 1099-B (Brokerage statements from stock, bond or other investment transactions)
-Closing statements pertaining to real estate transactions along with Form 1099-S
-All other supporting documents (schedules, checkbooks, etc.)
-Any tax notices received from the IRS or other taxing authorities

Earned Income Credit Required Documents (for each of your dependents)

If your income is less than $46,227 ($51,567 if married filing jointly) with three or more
qualifying children (under the age of 18 or under 24 if a full time student for at least six months
out of the year), please provide the following documents for the children:

-Social Security Cards
-Birth Certificate
-School Record
-Form 1098-T and cost of books & school supplies (for students attending college or university)
